How should you take the Modvigil tablets?

  • Do follow properly your doctor’s guidelines while taking this Modvigil medication. Do not consume these pills with any kind of sedative products that include street drugs or alcohol. If you do so, this can result in severe dizziness.
  • ·        You must never take this smart pill by chewing, breaking, or splitting the pills. Swallow the pills as a whole with water. You can take these Modvigil drug either before or after taking your food.
  • ·        The people with medical conditions like sleep apnea syndrome and narcolepsy can use these pills once in the morning. You can even take these tablets in the early afternoon.
  • ·        After consumption, these pills last for about 12-13 hours. So, it is advised that you take them in the morning or early afternoon. Using these drugs at night can lead to sleep disturbances.
  • ·        If you have shift work at night or in the early morning, you may use this Modvigil smart drug about 60 minutes prior to working time. Those people who have rotating shifts should ask their doctor about the right time of taking this smart drug.
  • ·        It is essential that you provide your medical reports to your doctor before taking these tablets. These drugs can make you suffer from some allergies. Consult a doctor immediately if you experience any allergies. Do not take this medication if you ever suffered from such allergies.
  • ·        Do provide detailed information regarding the drugs that you are using currently to your doctor.

Is Modvigil safe for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

It is very crucial that whatever medications you use during your pregnancy or breastfeeding period must always be used after a proper medical consultation. Do not take any drugs that your doctor does not approve. Well, it is not yet known if this smart drug is safe for people during pregnancy or breastfeeding. So it is advised that they consult a doctor before using such pills. It is better to take precaution than to deal with the adverse after-effects of this medication if it is harmful.
